This program acknowledges the detrimental effects of negative mindsets, particularly amplified during the recent pandemic, which has led to increased rates of depression and anxiety among young individuals. By offering character, leadership, and mindset development through an engaging video curriculum, Five Star Life aims to instill transformative life skills in children.

The curriculum is designed for K-12 students, making it suitable not only for children but also relevant for adults seeking personal development. The lessons vary in length depending on the age group, ensuring that they are age-appropriate while maintaining engagement. Accompanying lesson plans include interactive activities for younger students, while older students benefit from reflection notes to deepen their understanding.

Five Star Life employs a structured 5-Step Process:

 <li>WRITE IT: Following the video, students complete notes that include several reflective questions to enhance comprehension.</li>
 <li>DISCUSS IT: Students engage in discussions to process their thoughts and ideas collectively.</li>
 <li>LIVE IT: Each lesson features a “Challenge Step” where children plan how to apply what they learned in real life.</li>
 <li>REPORT IT: Students share their experiences regarding the challenge step and its effects on their lives.</li>
</ol>

This curriculum is aligned with state and national academic standards, including youth mental health requirements, ensuring that it meets educational mandates while promoting holistic development in young individuals.
